Policies & Procedures

 Please Read BEFORE Scheduling Your Hair Appointment.

For NEW & TRANSFER Clients

At HairCUSTOMIZED, we believe if your service takes less time, it should cost you less. This is why only starting prices are listed for each service.

 

As a New or Transfer Client, your customized price will be provided only after your consultation is completed.  Every service at HairCUSTOMIZED is tailored to you based on:

✅ Type of service selected
✅ Thickness of your hair
✅ Part size chosen (if applicable)
✅ Length of your hair
✅ Length of any extensions added

 

📅 A Hair Consultation is REQUIRED for ALL New & Transfer Clients before booking an appointment.

How to Book Your Consultation:


1️⃣ Go to the "Consultation" category and select your consultation type.
2️⃣ You CANNOT book a hair appointment before a consultation. If the system allows it, our Admin will cancel it and contact you via phone & email to reschedule.
3️⃣ After your consultation, you will receive a customized Estimate of Services based on our discussion.
4️⃣ Once you electronically "accept" your estimate, you will receive an invoice for a deposit to confirm your appointment date & time.

SISTERLOCKS Establishment and MICROLOC  Installation

APPOINTMENTS


Most Belle Microloc Extension Installations are scheduled approximately 30 days after your consultation to allow time for purchasing & receiving the required hair.

🚫 Clients CANNOT supply their own Belle Microloc Extension hair.
📅 No same-day service modifications or additions. Call/text us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to update your service.

🚫 No Refunds on Microloc, Sisterlocks, Sew-in, or Braid services once started.
🚫 No Call / No Show = Blocked from future appointments & NO refunds.
👶 Children allowed ONLY if they are receiving a service.

💰 DEPOSITS
A deposit is required to book all services. Clients must save a credit card on file.

💳 Deposit Amounts:
🔹 25% for services 4 hours or less
🔹 50% for services over 4 hours

🚨 DETANGLING POLICY

🛑 Arrive with your hair fully detangled & ready for service.

🔹 A $1 per minute detangling fee will be added for any time spent detangling before your service.
🔹 If excessive detangling is needed, your appointment may be canceled or rescheduled at your stylist’s discretion.
🚫 If canceled due to detangling issues, the standard cancellation policy applies.

🦠 COVID POLICY


😷 Clients must wear a mask at all times.
🌡️ Temperature checks at entry—clients with a fever (99°F or higher) will be turned away & asked to reschedule.

❌ CANCELLATION POLICY


📅 8+ Days in Advance: Full refund of deposit + option to reschedule.
📅 3-7 Days in Advance: 50% of deposit retained.
📅 48 Hours in Advance: 75% of deposit retained.
📅 24 Hours or Less: 100% of deposit retained, no rescheduling option.
📝 Prepaid Services (Gift Cards, Promotions, Groupons):
📌 Must cancel/reschedule at least 72 hours in advance (one-time courtesy).

🔄 SCHEDULING / RESCHEDULING POLICY

 

We offer and highly suggest that everyone choose to schedule their next appointment at the end of their current appointment. The benefit to scheduling your next appointment prior to leaving the salon is there will be no deposit required.  

Otherwise the following polices become in effect:

🔹 You can reschedule using the link in your appointment confirmation email OR via the Acuity Client App. (DEPOSIT
Required)


🔹 Admin Override: a ONE-TIME Courtesy when you call the salon to have us schedule for you.

       This often happens when:


           ✅ New Clients - when you fail to pay your deposit within 48 hours of booking.
           ✅ Returning Clients - when the system prevents you from rescheduling within 48 hours of your appointment.

 

📌 Please be advised, a $50 Late Scheduling Fee will be added to the balance in the event an Admin Override is required to book an appointment.

⏳ LATE POLICY

⏰ 15-Minute Grace Period.
📌 After 15 minutes, your appointment may be canceled at the stylist's discretion, and your deposit will NOT be refunded.
📌 If allowed to reschedule, a $50 convenience fee will be added.

🚫 NO CALL / NO SHOW POLICY

❌ Full deposit (100%) will be retained.
❌ No further appointment opportunities will be granted.
❌ Your profile will be blocked from booking in the future.
